Queensway River

The Queensway River is a wide body of water that flows down a steep hill towards the Lake of the Frost Queen. Along this river are a series of huge locks that allow the passage of boats up and down the river. The inhabitants of this area have created small villages, typically extended family units, on the tops of these enormous gates. When danger threatens, they simply raise the gates, creating an instant defense.

These inhabitants farm the southern bank and gather wood from the nearby forest for trade with Verner and parts beyond.

Additionally these river workers have trained the indigenous river lizards to two the boats for them. Subsequently the ships that exist on this river do not have sails, but instead ropes bound to lizards.
